Forged by the death of the Fourth Daemon Lord. Before the start of the Fourth Daemon War there was research to see if it were possible to forge a relic into a power approximately equal to that of an Artifact. Triple Fissure was arguably the closest the project got to a success. Three individual relic weapons forged together into a single blade giving the resulting sword all three of the weapons effects. The relics were as follows:
Swift.
A hover scree and aluminiumm forged weapon built for speed drawing. It is said that none have ever seen the blade. Either cutting clean through enemies before being sheathed in a single action or bouncing off armour before being sheathed just as fast.
Etheral Cutter.
A handle for a weapon that was probably going to be a greatsword but was never completed. Made from the same matrial as stabilisation pillars. The blade was never attached to the handle yet the area where the blade would have been was capable of cutting through magics of all varities.
Blade breaker.
An incredibly advanced Tone Metal blade. When struch the form of the Tone Metal would change form such that whatever struck or was struck by the blade, regardless of material, would shatter.
The net effect making a weapon that would cut through any material or magical object. The weapon subsequently cut down the fourth Daemon Lord and only improved it’s abilities. Triple fissure gaining the ability to cut through anything. The weapon having white projections of itself in front of and behind it. Exactly how ahead and behind varies depending on weilder proficiency but these projections are perfectly functional duplicates of the original. Triple Fissure effectively cutting forward and back through time passively. It is also possibe that transparent white lines appear from the flat tip of the blade. These lines fade at variable rates but are just as effectve as the blade itself. Triple Fissure also cutting through space. The absolute limits of triple fissure are unknown however the limits of it (the blade that cuts through all) and the Infernal Axe (the axe that burns all) have been tested against each other and can be neatly summarised in that Infernal Axe indiscriminately burns where Triple Fissure is more of a surgical cut.
Infernal Axe suppasses Triple fissure in terms or raw power and range.
Triple fissure suppasses Infernal Axe in terms of speed and accuracy.
Triple Fissure can cut Infernal Axe’s flames. The reverse is not true. This is thought to be either due to the quality of the original weapon or due to the fact Triple Fissure itself is doing the cutting where Infernal Axe’s flames are the projection of it’s power.
